Each year more than 1,800 exceptional high school students from across the country visit Washington D.C. through the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour.
During their trip, students meet elected officials, participate in networking events, learn about our nation's history, the cooperative business model, and the importance of civic engagement.
In 2023, CCEC will send one high school student on the Youth Tour. 2023 Youth Tour dates are TBD. Rising high school juniors and seniors living in a household served by the co-op with a minimum GPA of 3.0 are encouraged to apply.
The application will be available in October.
