Connect to Save is a way we can work together as a community to create big savings on power costs for your home and the entire co-op membership. Joining together, we will reduce demand for electricity at times when it peaks and is most expensive.

As a member of Carteret-Craven Electric Cooperative, you can receive an ecobee3 lite smart thermostat for FREE or the ecobee smart thermostat with voice control for only $79, free installation, and earn $50 every year you participate in Connect to Save. 

After your new smart thermostat is installed, Connect to Save will make minimal adjustments during high-traffic times for big savings on wholesale power cost when electricity is most expensive. By collectively adjusting thermostats in the area at times of high demand, wholesale energy costs are reduced, helping to manage energy costs for the entire cooperative.
