Carteret-Craven Electric Cooperative’s Board of Directors and staff recently recognized Cary Temple, owner of Temple Tree Service, for the integral role Temple Tree Service has had in the Cooperative’s operations for more than 50 years.
Since 1970, Temple Tree Service has maintained more than 2,500 miles of right-of-way for the Cooperative. “By keeping the Cooperative’s lines accessible, Temple Tree Service enabled CCEC to provide members with safe, reliable, and affordable electricity,” said CCEC CEO & General Manager, Jake Joplin.
After storms, Temple Tree Service was always ready to begin clearing the path so that Cooperative line crews could work safely to quickly restore power to members. Not only did they respond to storms in our area, but they often accompanied our crews to aid other cooperatives after hurricanes and ice storms.
“We appreciate the collaboration and support Temple Tree Service has provided to the Cooperative throughout our partnership. Their expertise has been invaluable, and we are grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such a reliable partner,” said Joplin.
